Story
Vũ Văn Tài is a musician in 70's Vietnam that passed away, denied his chance at stardom. After wandering the afterlife, he gets captured by the Moon Demon, Quái Nguyệt, to be eaten. However, Nguyệt is impressed by Tài's talents, and offers him a chance at producing a new show- a singing program projecting human songs to the ears of demons. Ecstatic by this chance, Tài greedily gambles his soul to build the greatest hit Bolero show the Spirit Realm has ever seen.
But through chasing his own dream, he stumbles upon a bygone dream of forgotten songs and passionate memories of an unfamiliar Vietnam. Tài is inspired, and just can't seem to let this spirit be. Against his better judgement, Tài decides to hustle to have it all- winning over both the Moon Demon's audience and the heart of a long lost musician.

The story, art, and characters of “One Last Encore” are original creations and belong to Rainboopz.However, this project as a whole is considered an indie, fan-animatic series. The main goal of this series is to tell the story of Tài and his plight for fame and stardom. In addition, this series acts as a personal love letter to Vietnamese music, especially Bolero and Nhạc Vàng, and to honor the artists and programs that continue to contribute to Viet music history today.All fan animatics are crafted in Fair Use. All songs featured in fan animatics belong to the original copyright owners and will always be credited properly. Spirit Realm / Cõi Vong Linh
The supernatural resides here. An alternate reality of sorts that all monsters, demons, and ghosts can go to. It is a spirit realm that is rich with magic and is a darker reflection of earthly locations. Yêu Tinh and Yêu Quái may rule over their own territories/sectors here.
A Stranger City / Thành Phố Xa Lạ
An ancient city in the realm where many spirits gather to live and rest. It is a district filled with entertainement and leisure, enough to make you drunk with dreams. Also nicknamed the "Drunken" city (Say Sưa).
Titanic Talent / Quái Tài
The upcoming greatest live music show that'll shake up the Spirit Realm. Quái Tài is filled with talented demons and spirits that sing human songs. Come sit and listen to learn the secrets of how to consume the human soul- and be absolutely enraptured by the Bolero sound.
Firey Love Tearoom / Phòng trà Lửa Tình
A (fictional) tearoom establishment in Hanoi that started to gain popularity after debuting local artists. It closed its doors in the early 50's.
